Bettina Guggemos takes over as Chair of the Management Board at EXCON Services GmbH
Bettina Guggemos strengthens the Management Board of the digitisation and outsourcing service provider EXCON, working alongside Bruno Hohmann and Daniel Weise. The current CEO, Dr Johannes Clauss, is retiring from operational management after a transition phase.
Neu-Isenburg, 27 May 2019 – Recognising the opportunities presented by change – this has always been EXCON Services GmbH’s maxim. And this also applies to changes in personnel – from 27 May 2019, Bettina Guggemos will be taking over as Chair of the Management Board. She will be stepping into the shoes of Dr Johannes Clauss who, after a transition phase, is retiring from operational management in order to focus to a greater degree on his own business activities as a digital entrepreneur. Guggemos has been working for EXCON since 2000 and, since 2004, has been responsible for the Automotive Division, which delivers services for OEMs with a strong international focus.
"Under Bettina Guggemos' leadership, EXCON will remain an important partner for digital change. She will continue to expand and develop the services of the EXCON Group in line with market requirements and with a consistent international focus. Her years of experience, her thorough knowledge of the industry and her international expertise will strengthen our capacity for innovation and she will focus on the expansion of those services that are needed for the future viability of our clients’ business models", Dr Johannes Clauss explains.
Guggemos can draw on a huge wealth of experience – she originally came to EXCON from the BMW Bank, and she successfully implemented the Europe-wide expansion of the Automotive Division with OEMs. She was also active in her original field of business, assuming market responsibility for banks and leasing companies in neighbouring Austria. Since 2011, she has also been entrusted with the management of EXCON Austria. She knows the industry very well and regularly takes part in expert panel discussions as a speaker. She is a qualified banker and gained a degree in Economic Science from the University of Augsburg, where the focus of her studies was on Mathematics and Statistics.
